Ocular Conditions, Mount Albert, ON
Healthy eyes and good vision are too important, so be sure you resolve ocular conditions as early as possible.
It is a common misconception that the only time you need to head to an optometrist is if you are experiencing vision issues. There are actually many different types of ocular conditions that we can help you with here at Dr. Miller & Dr. Tilis Family Optometry, and some are easier to notice than others. Not having symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there aren’t any issues that need to be handled.
We have extended office hours to make it convenient to fit an exam into your busy schedule so you can be checked for ocular conditions. We conduct a thorough exam to check vision and eye health. The ocular conditions we are checking for include myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), astigmatism, presbyopia, strabismus (eye turn), amblyopia (lazy eye), posterior vitreous detachment (PVD), retinal tears, holes or detachments, diabetes-related ocular conditions, cataracts, glaucoma, and blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid).
People of all ages should have regular exams to check for ocular conditions. We regularly see patients from the Mount Albert, Ontario area as young as 6 months, far into retirement, and at every age in between. Healthy eyes and good vision are far too important, so be sure to resolve ocular conditions as early as possible.
